About Brian Vaughn

Island Colors LLC is located on Sanibel Island, in S.W. Florida. Owner/Artist Brian Vaughn is fully licensed and insured. References are available upon request.

After majoring in art through high school under the guidance of Michael Ziezuliewitz, Brian continued his education at the Art institute of Boston where he studied fine art painting and printmaking. After leaving college Brian worked 15 years in the printing industry as a graphic technician. In the next stage of his career Brian pursued his passion for decorative artistry and Island Colors was created.

Brian has since studied extensively at the Faux Effects Studio of Vero Beach, and the Sarasota School of Decorative Arts under many top level instructors in the country.

Brian is committed to further his education by attending new workshops and seminars that relate to decorative arts, in order to stay informed of current trends and new products.
